Little George came into our lives after the death of my first cat. We rescued her from the animal shelter, but really she rescued me. During, her 15 years with us, she has managed to outlive many other pets and family members. She wasn’t your normal cat. She enjoyed laying on her cat tree, and watching the animals outside. She had a sweet spirit, so sweet that she would let our pet bird nest in her fur. She would just lay there and purr.
She wasn’t fond of being held, but loved to watch from afar. She was my vent buddy and reason to continue on.
I’m going to miss my Georgey Girl, but I know she is reunited with those we lost over the years. Especially, our other beloved cat Mimzy who she grew quite attached to.
