Chachi Oliver Yates lost his very courageous battle with IMPA on Thursday May 20 at PVSEC surrounded by his loving family. Chachi was a special needs chihuahua that was rescued from Animal Friends Westmoreland in May 2018. Little did we know that day how this tiny 3 pound dog would change us and help change the world for the better. Shortly after adoption, Chachi was given his diagnosis and we vowed to give him the best life possible. He enjoyed snacking on cheeseburgers, fries, strawberry yogurt and his daddy giving him Cheerios. He lived life to the fullest last summer running through the grass and sitting in the sun. He was loved dearly by his fur sister Paislee who napped with him, shared treats with him and most importantly helped him feel secure. There were so many wonderful people that shared their love for Chachi from all around the world and most importantly the ones who helped in his care. Candy, Bethany and staff from Animal Friends Westmoreland, Dr. Chisell, Jennifer and his special Auntie Rachel who always smothered him in kisses from PVSEC, Bobby, Constance and Nathan from Big Guy, Littles World Sanctuary and his Uncle Val who taught him how to trust. Chachi you were one loved little guy, Momma’s Peanut and Daddy’s Little Man.
