Max

Max was a sweet and gentle boy who lived to please his family.  When he was younger he liked to explore the woods, and never missed a chance to hang out with his human Dad and Brother while they were doing work around the house, or watching sporting events with him.  He was always his human Mom's assistant while she worked from home, was cooking in the kitchen and never left her side.  Max was preceded in death by his sister Chloe and brother Gunner. Max will be greatly missed by his human family.

Gigi

Gigi was adopted from Fallen Timber Shelter shortly after my husband passed away.  She was a 2 month old kitten.
She made her own place in my home as a sweet, lovable cat.  She became diabetic which we were able to keep
in check for quite a while.  She unexpectedly crossed Rainbow Bridge at home.  She is sadly missed but will always
be in my heart.  Until we meet again sweet Gigi, I will never forget you.

Angel

Angel adopted me in 2006 11 days after I lost my 18 year old, Samantha, to kidney failure.
She just showed up on my porch and quickly became one of the sweetest, funniest cats
I have ever had.  She is now sadly missed but will be in my heart forever.  Until we meet
again at Rainbow Bridge my sweet Angel.

Helmut

Helmut Dirkschneider (Stahl)
2001-2021
Helmut was born in the Southside slopes in or around 2001 where he came to live with his Mother, Cassie. For a short period he lived as a foster with his temporary Dad, Dave.
In 2004 He relocated to McCandless to live with his forever family, Brian and Cassie. During this time he became General Manager of Outback Steakhouse on McKnight Road, working his way up to Regional Manager. Though he constantly bummed rides off his parents, he was known to own and operate his own private jet.
In 2006 he moved with his family to Ross Twp, Pa where he remained for the rest of his days.
Helmut enjoyed basking in the sunshine at the top of the stairs, butt pats, anything cheese flavored, mint gum and chasing birds he could not catch. An avid indoorsman, he spent his days on his favorite fleece and choosing toys from his toybox… preferring squirrels, and being an all around good buddy to his bff Brian.
Helmut was the mildest of all cats. He loved all animals, never hissed or scratched and was smarter than your average housecat. He scoffed at laser pointers and made sure to do his “laps” around the house at top speed at least once a week.
Helmut is rumored to have been part bunny due to his soft fur, and hate of having his feets touched.  He smelled of sunshine dust and dryer sheets.
In his later years, Helmut enjoyed sleeping on the furnace vent in the kitchen eventually moving to his favorite fleece on the couch so he could be around his parents full time. He retired from Outback in order to enjoy his time at home.
Helmut leaves behind his Dad and best buddy Brian, his food giver and Mother, Cassie and a pain in the butt sister, Six…who he tolerated and picked on incessantly.

Oliver

Oliver was born on August 2, 2018 in Punxsutawney, PA.  He was a huge dog and had a huge personality to match.  He was goofy, and loveable and made friends everywhere he went.  When Oliver went anywhere, he drew a crowd of admirers and he loved being the center of attention.  He was photographed by strangers hundreds of times, he was truly a sight to behold.

Oliver’s favorite things included going “bye- byes”, strolling the neighborhood with mom, counter-surfing, having visitors, and eating cheese.

Oliver is survived by his human family, Sharyn (mom), Dale (dad), August, Elliot, Joshua, and Garrett, who all miss him very much.  Also survived by feline brother Max, and canine brother Gizmo.  Oliver will always be remembered by his other favorite people, Gloria, Sam, and the mail lady.

Jazzi

JAZZI WAS A VERY HAPPY AND LOVABLE SHIH TZU. SHE FOUND HER FOREVER HOME ON FEBRUARY 19, 2010, AT THE AGE OF 2. SHE BROUGHT SO MUCH JOY, LOVE AND HAPPINESS TO EVERYONE AND EVERY DAY. SHE LOVED HER “MILLER MAN” COMPANION AND THEY SHARED THEIR DINNERS TOGETHER. JAZZI PASSED AWAY IN HER FAVORITE STOP IN HER BACKYARD, VERY PEACEFULLY AFTER SEVERAL MONTHS OF BEING ILL. YOU WILL ALWAYS BE OUR JAZZI GIRL AND FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS.

Hadji

Hadji was born on March 27, 2007 on the porch of a nice older couple, who gave me my choice of kitten.  I picked Hadji, the little quiet grey one in the back of the box.  We had 14 years of playing, tripping us when he ran under our feet, and stealing our bread and cheese.  Hadji left this earth and took another piece of my heart with him. He leaves behind his “mom” Jackie and “dad” Wojtek, as well as his cat brother Eddie. Hadji joins his cat brothers Malcolm and snuggle buddy Andrew in heaven, as well as his mom and Aunt Georgie and Uncle Jack (who found him.) I already miss you tremendously and love you three forever.

Buddha

Buddha Roskov passed away on July 1 2021 at the age of 12. He was proceeded by his brother Waldo and saved by sister Rain and by human family. He was a very fun, loving, and playful cat. He loved to chased string, lick bags and be the best cuddle buddy. Buddha will forever be missed and even though he is gone he will never be forgotten. He left paw prints in everyone's heart and we will always see you when the sun shines.

Annie

Annie Anderson July 30, 2010 – June 10, 2021 Annie was the quintessential adventure dog. Traveling in the car and discovering all that the world had to offer – woods, ponds, deer, Sonic Drive-ins – brought her such joy. It goes without saying that she was the finest, and most beautiful, of companions with a deserved reputation of being the dog that never did anything bad in her entire life. While Annie had no real tolerance for any other creature (except her beloved Porter), she was always ready to greet her many human friends, family and fans with kisses and perhaps, if you were chosen, a chin bite. She loved balls, especially those that squeaked, and small squeaky toys. She lived for a good round of “Go find!” and could be counted on to be near no matter what activity I was involved in. She frequently stopped by to raise morale at my workplace, befriended the mailman and delivery drivers (once she knew they carried treats) and never even came close to “eating” anyone. Annie traveled to nine states, and lived in two. I will always treasure those days at the Darby Falls Farm in Kentucky, road trips to Ithaca, New York, Indianapolis, Memphis and Virginia and the folk we met along the way. Spending quiet time just sitting on the patio together was my favorite part of the day. Annie was always strong, and loyal and brave and funny. She actually buried bones! She made me laugh, and gave me security, serenity, love and companionship every moment of her life. Sadly, Annie had many health complications in her short life, but they never kept her down for long. Annie made it clear that she was my girl from the first time I laid eyes on her until our very last moments together. But, being the sweet and loving girl that she was, she touched many hearts. I will inadvertently leave out someone – my apologies. To her Aunt Rhonda, Uncle Greg, Aunt Sally, Trish, Larry & Fatima, Jen, Kenia, Erin, Lyndsey, Erika, Karen, Neighbor Mike, Gail, K8, and her trainer, Rachel – thank you for being a part of her world. Finally my deepest gratitude to Brenton – your kindness meant the world to us. I am grateful to all of you that celebrated her birthdays, went on adventures and otherwise were part of the best decade of my life. I will miss you beyond words, Annie, but I will never cease thinking of and remembering you every day until the end. I love you, Pantz. – – Mama
